Cheryl, Jardeep, and Tom have an online business that sells fish aquarium equipment. Their partnership agreement states that Cheryl is in charge of sales, Tom is in charge of managing the supply side of the business, and Jardeep is to do the marketing. The agreement also states that all the partners are to be paid a salary of $4000/month. It was envisaged that all three would work at the office rented for the partnership, however due to the restrictive space, Jardeep was forced to mostly work from home. Recently the relationship between Jardeep and the other two partners has begun to deteriorate, mainly due to Jardeep feeling that Cheryl and Tom undervalue his work. Jardeep now wishes to leave the business. Cheryl and Tom do not think that Jardeep should be entitled to the salary as he did not attend the office as often as Cheryl and Tom. Advise Jardeep.
