Lila is a nurse working in an emergency room. A couple comes in with their 13-year-old daughter, who complains of chest pains and vaguel bieng: toms and her medical history. But, every time she asks a question, one of the parents answers instead of the daughter. When Lila tries to direct a question to the daughter, she gives only one-or two-word responses before being interrupted by her parents. The daughter looks withdrawn and looks down almost the entire time. Lila suspects abuse and needs to get more information from the daughter. What should Lila do?
