Pulmonary embolism – find the false answer: • X ray sometimes arise from the emboli compared of air, fat, tumor tissue. • Usually may originate in the deep venous system of the lower extremities. • After traveling to the lung, large thrombi may lodge at thebifurcation of the main pulmonary artery and may cause hemodynamic compromise. • In people with a high suspicion of PE, a normal d-dimer level (shown in a blood test) is enough to rule out the probability of thrombotic PE • In people with a low or moderate suspicion of PE, anormal D dimer level (shown in a blood test) is enough to rule out the possibility of thrombotic PE.
