In a middle-income urban neighbourhood, residents have reported an increase in
petty crimes such as burglaries and vandalism. Despite the local police increasing
their patrols and the installation of security cameras, the residents' fear of crime
remains high. Community meetings reveal that some residents believe the media
is exaggerating the crime rates, while others feel that the police presence is
insufficient. Additionally, there are concerns about the effectiveness of
neighbourhood watch programs and the impact of socioeconomic diversity on
safety perceptions
Dalam kejiranan bandar berpendapatan sederhana, penduduk telah melaporkan
peningkatan dalam jenayah kecil seperti pecah rumah dan vandalisme. Walaupun
polis tempatan meningkatkan rondaan dan pemasangan kamera keselamatan,
