B. Vascular dementia occurs from a single cerebral infarction, whereas Alzheimer’s involves amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary tangles in the brain.
C. Vascular dementia occurs from a congenital defect in the cerebral arterial wall and Alzheimer’s develops from viral pathogens that invade the cerebrum.
D. Vascular dementia occurs due to hyper-perfusion of blood to the brain, whereas Alzheimer’s is neurodegenerative of the gray matter in the brain.
