two forces A and B act on an object in opposite directions. A is bigger than B. What is the net force acting on an object?

Sagot :

Imagine a block with A pulling one way and B the other.

If A is bigger than B then obviously it will go in the direction of A.

The net force will be A-B as A is pulling it along with x but b is also pulling back with y.
as A is bigger than B,, so the magnitude of the  net force will be equal to A-B ..
also the body or object will move in the direction in which  force is applied...
take example of a frige ,, what happens when un balanced force is applied:
