What act of legislature renewed Lincoln's passion against slavery

Sagot :

The Fugitive Slave Act renewed Lincoln’s passion against slavery. The Fugitive Slave act was passed in the year 1850. This was a terrible act that gave the slave owners the right to catch those slaves that had run away or getting hold of any black people and claiming that the person escaped from his slavery was enough to make the black person a slave.  This act led the slaves to form resistance against the government and the people who took advantage of this act.
