Machiavelli's works influenced political thinking in the Western World, Machiavelli outlined some political philosophies that were essential to those trying to handle situations of all the conflict, and more importantly, power. Machiavelli wrote a book titled "The Prince." In this book, he advises leaders and explains that there is no morality when governing; He further states that it's better to be feared than loved, stressing on the importance of the individual. Machiavelli's work caused political power in the western world to be associated with an "ends justify the means" approach and that his work forces scholars and observers to come to terms with the depths of human "morality" and action. This book is still commonly read today.
