PLEASE HELP ME

There is a bell at the top of a tower that is 20 m high. The bell weighs 100 kg. The bell has potential energy. Calculate it.

Sagot :

PE=MGH
(Mass)(Gravity)(Height)

Pe=(100kg)(9.81 m/s)(20m)
Pe=19,620 J
20m x 100kg = 200j
If you are calculating potential energy you want to do ( height x weight)
In this case our height is the the bell which is 20 m high and our bell weighs 100kg so you would just multiply. Hope this helps
