less, if it’s too big: hard to control and maneuverability for shooting wouldn’t be that good. a smaller wheelchair allows for faster movement and control, along with easier shooting and upper body movement

The way i would design a wheelchair to be used by basketballers is;

I would make the wheel chair less massive so that it can be easy to control which in turn would not make his speed slower and also which will not reduce his agility.

In playing basketball, some of the key skills are;

1) Dribbling.

2) Shooting.

3) Defense.

4) Rebounding.

5) Passing.

While some of the key physical traits are;

1) Speed

2) Agility

3) Core strength

4) Leap ability

Now, if we have to make a wheel chair, we have to consider those skills and traits above.

Thus, the wheel chair would have to be less massive because if it is too massive it will be very hard for the person to control it and this will also affect his speed and agility which is ability to slide laterally or glide away from an opponent.

Thus, I would make the wheel chair less massive so that it can be easy to control which in turn would not make his speed slower and also which will not reduce his agility.
