3/4 of the year is 3/4 of 52 weeks, so switch the 3/4 to 75%, calculate 75% of 52 is 39 weeks, plus the one extra week and you get 40 weeks. I didn't explain how to calculate that bc it's tought differently in different places, just write that part out however you learned it.
