Can someone help me understand the difference with compound, complex, simple, etc sentences? It's so hard for me to understand and it's affecting my grade. Please help:(

One is not complete (and is going to watch them tonight). We call these independent and dependent sentences.  When an independent and dependent sentence is connected by a conjunction, it is called a compound sentence.
