my best friend wasn't my best friend by choice. before i was born, my mom planned out who would take care of me (my nanny), and the same mom chose that nanny, too. the girl and i spent 20 hours a day together; bedtime, morning, getting ready, school, homework, snacks, playtime, and breakfast lunch and dinner. we did every single thing together. but the thing was, we were so different. we had NOTHING in common. she loved playing with her horses (24/7) and i loved dressing up and doing gymnastics. if i could name one thing we had in common, it would be nothing. if we hadnt grown up together, i wouldve never known her like i do now. as a sister. and im so thankful for having her in my life no matter what.
