While gentrification is a huge issue, l want to experience a Mardi Gras parade at least once in my life. i would also like to see the diversity and culture. natives spent years with oppressive poverty rebuilding after Hurricane Katrina which is why i want to visit and see historic buildings that many people feel a connection to before it is torn down and replaced with high-end luxury condos that are terribly and unreasonably priced.
