If religion didn't exist in the world, would the world be better place- I learn sociology and for the past couple of days the question has been bugging me, so if you don't mind answer the question please.

yes very true! if religions din't exist there would be no discrimination between people and places

but religion also makes people do good things like.... making people do good things (ie) not telling lies  , no theft ect..... for the cause of their religion . for instance bible tells people not to tell lies if so god will punish.....
