Sagot :
Answer and Explanation:
"Animal Farm" is an allegorical novella written by George Orwell. The animals take over the farm where they live, kicking out their human owner. Their intention is to start a new type of society, where all animals are free and equal. The story serves as criticism to the Soviet regime in Russia, after the Russian Revolution. The pigs, among them Napoleon and Squealer, become the dominant class for being more intelligent than the other animals.
Why did Squealer think that Napoleon was dying?
In Chapter 8, Napoleon was feeling unwell. No one had ever seen Napoleon that sick before - quite the opposite, he was usually very healthy. For that reason, Squealer went around announcing Napoleon was dying.
What actually happened to Napoleon?
Napoleon was simply hungover due to his first experience consuming alcohol. At first, the animals avoided doing anything that was habitual of humans. However, as the pigs become more and more like humans in their way of commanding the other animals, they also begin to experiment human customs. They begin to sleep in beds, to sit at the table to eat, and one day they drink alcohol. They obviously get drunk, and the hangover that comes afterward is something new to them.
