There was a time in my life where work was the most important thing to me. I would dive head first and put all my focus on my work. This caused problems with my relationship at the time. I would think that I was listening to my significant other but when I tried to recall what they said I could not remember at all. This began to pile on problems in our relationship as I would forget important things that were very meaningful to her life. This caused the end of our relationship. I could have learned to divide my time and focus on personal relationship and the people around me more.
