The following operations are done;

(3x+ 4y= 10) ×2

(2x- 2y = 2)​ × 3

6x+8y=20

6x-6y=6

Subtract equation 1 from 2 to eliminate x;

6x+8y-6x+6y=20-6

14y=14

y=1

The value of x is obtained by putting the value in equation 1;

3x+4(1)=10

3x=6

x=2

Hence, the value of the x and y by the elimination method will be 2 and 1.
