What should you do with new ideas during the drafting phase of the writing
process?
A. Ignore them; it's too late to add new ideas
B. Check the outline to see if there is a place for the new ideas
C. Make sure the new ideas take top priority in your current draft
D. Write the ideas down and go back to them later

I think this can also be personal preference, but you should keep new ideas always. Any idea can be a good one, even if it is not in the moment, it might be later. There is no harm in saving something for later. It will be better then loosing the idea.
