Values, attitudes, and moods and emotions capture how managers experience their jobs as individuals. Although these three aspects of managers' work experience are highly personal, they also have important implications for understanding how managers behave, how they treat and respond to others, and how, through their efforts, they help contribute to organizational effectiveness through planning, leading, organizing, and controlling. This exercise gives you the opportunity to not only recognize and analyze the value, attitudes, and moods and emotions of others, but to reflect on your own as well.
