Sagot :

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

H(3,2)  & J(4, 1)

[tex]Slope = \dfrac{y_{2} -y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}\\\\=\dfrac{1-2}{4-3}\\\\\\=\dfrac{-1}{1}\\\\= -1[/tex]

K(-2,-4)  & M(-1 , -5)

[tex]Slope =\dfrac{-5-[-4]}{-1-[-2]}\\\\=\dfrac{-5+4}{-1+2}\\\\= \dfrac{-1}{1}\\\\\\= -1[/tex]

Line HJ and KM have same slopes. So, they are parallel
