Well, for one, the community has a strong belief that the community will be peaceful and stable through conformity. One example of this is having similar physical features, having one color of clothing and and one outfit to wear. It is only when things are not the same, that there are problems. When people like different music, have different political views, want different colors of clothing or different portions in food, that they have arguments. The Elders have removed all of these boundaries: music, color, and difference at all.
