well im assuming it means that you get your way. That resistance to change is the unwillingness to adapt to altered circumstances. It can be covert or overt, organized, or individual. So for it to be successful would be for the definition to have actually happened. hope that made sense.

In business and organization when a company or workers resist changes and do not seem fit for new changes are called resistance.

For resistance to be successful the change initiated should be adopted by the individuals or the company as a whole.

The unwillingness to adapt to altered situations can be overt or convert, by individuals or organizations. So for successful resistance, the company or the employees should be briefed about the change and its importance or need.
