x = 28 - y  --> Substitute into Eq 2, you get

6(28 - y) + 3y = 105

168 - 6y + 3y = 105

-3y = -63

y = -63 / -3 = 21

Now solve for x using Eq 1.

x = 28 - y = 28 - 21 = 7
