"How were slaves treated differently depending on where they worked?"

Sagot :

Answer:        Slaves were treated differently based on there skin. The lighter you were the better job you got assigned to on the plantation. If you worked in the house other wise known as a "House Slave" You were treated better than the "Field Slave".  "House Slaves" tended to be better dressed, usually dressing in " hand me downs" from the masters and mistresses. Some "House slaves" were even given rooms to sleep in, in the main house instead of a cabin like the others slaves. One can also assume they ate better most likely getting leftovers from big dinners that the masters threw.

Conclusion

The closer you worked with the Master and Mistresses, the higher social class you were considered to be as a slave. This meant you were treated better being provided better clothing, better housing, better meals, and most likely less harsh punishments.
