Sagot :
Answer:
Yes, there is similarities between both incidents.
Explanation:
The start of the world war and attacks of 9/11 sparked hatred for the country and it's people responsible, natrually the human mind likes to believe that if one person or thing does something, the whole group of whatever that person or thing is apart of does the same thing, if you observe a duck swimming, and see another one, you would immediately assume that duck can swim like the last duck you just saw. a vast majority of german-americans were discriminated, abused, rejected and shunned due to the actions of germany. The same incident happened to occur to islamic and arab americans, it is common for society to assume the worst when confronted with a foreign situation, or even a situation they know nothing about, the mind goes into a state of panic and assumes the worst, in a situation like this the mind wold immediately generalize the persons beliefs, nationalities, religions. People are frightened upon seeing an arab or islamic individual on a place because they assume they're a terrorist, people back in ww1 assumed all germans were nazis, or part of the third reich. sometimes it could be unintentional, the human mind only acts this way in a reaction to fear, that does not make it right, but being in a state of fear can make any individual do anything, Murder, run, fight, or act in ways frowned upon by modern-day society. these actions aren't right but excused, there are similarities between these two incidents, in an act of fear america shuns and looks down on germans, arabs, islamics. due to acts that are not even their fault.
