Give your answer as a 12-hour clock time.

Sagot :

Given:

Deporting time of Bus A and Bus B = 5 pm

Time taken by bus A to complete its route = 30 min

and , time taken by bus B to complete its route = 35 min

To find :

Time at which both bus back at the bus depot together .

Solution:

The HCF of the times taken to complete their routes will give the time at which they will be together .

HCF of 30 and 35 is 210 .

The buses will come together after 210 minutes of their deporting time .

210 minutes = 3 hours and 30 minutes

The time at which both bus back at the bus depot together

=  ( 5:00 + 3:30 )

= 8:30 pm
