First divide both sides of 2x-2y=-2 by 2 to get x-y=-1. Now, you can simply add the equations together and you’d get 4x=4. Divide both sides by 4 to get x = 1. Then, plug in the 1 to one of the original equation (I used 2x-2y=-2):
2(1)-2y=-2
2-2y=-2
-2y=-4
y=2

So x = 1 and y = 2! :) hope this helps
