Woman were the first farmers but the skill of farming was taken by men while women did house chores. Men were also soldiers to defend the civilization.

Women made clothing and food for everyone while the men were vikings and what not and when out to conquer land and raid for valuables.

Women had to take care of the household during the 17th and 18th centuries, They run the household, managing the servants, and were responsible for raising and teaching the youth and children. While men were able to do anything they wanted in a sense In general, men were providing income for the family more than anything.

At this time World War l and World War ll broke out so women worked as clerks, waitresses, teachers, and telephone operators- that was all women were aloud to do. Some women wanted to be more than that so they would sneak into the military acting as a man. Men on the other hand were drafted to be in the military to fight the war, other men were scholars- but only aloud to be if they already paid for college before they got drafted.

Women are aloud to do anything they want now, same for men. They are able to have the same jobs.
