This unintelligent brain of mine decided to charge my phone overnight thinking that nothing bad will happen ;-; the next morning i woke up to find it not turning on i can go to a phone technician so is there anything i can do myself please i need help before January 10

There are different reasons that may be the cause of the phone not turning on. The best things to do is to check the power cord first to known where the fault is coming from.

Then one can try using a different chord for your phone, or try your power cord with another phone. This will help you to recognize the fault.

When you notice that your cord did  works in another device, you can then know that your battery need replacing. But If a different cord do works in your phone, then use that cord to charges it and you just need to replace your original cord.
