Chemicals are used in the majority of manufacturing facilities. In essence, there's a need for government regulation of Chemicals. The usage of some chemicals leads to the production of toxic effluents. These toxic effluents are dangerous to terrestrial and to aquatic life. On this note, there should be more regulation of Chemicals.

Coupled with aforementioned, some chemicals are used in the food industry. These category of chemicals have functional properties. However, there's need for more regulation on these chemicals. For instance, bromate which is used in bread has side effects. One of bromate's side effect is that it's cancerous. On this note, there should be more government regulation of Chemicals.
