Tom had 194 dollars to spend on 6 books.After buying them he had 14 dollars.How much did each book cost?

Because at the end there were 14$ that was left do because of that you subtract that to the normal amount he had, whish will equal 180$ and because he spent that money on 6 books, all you do is divide 180$ to 6 and then u have 30
