In a paragraph explain the following: when did Europe really start to consider
science? How was this received by the Church? When/where by whom did the
Scientific Revolution start? (5.03)

Sagot :

Answer:

The Renaissance encouraged many people to try to understand the world through philosophic and scientific means. The desire in Europe to explore required better navigational skills and scientific understanding, which provided motivation to figure things out. The Protestant Reformation also encouraged independent thought and meant that people in many parts of Europe no longer relied on the Catholic church to explain things. The time frame for all of this was nowhere near as specific as what you wrote but was in that general vicinity. It was a more gradual process that grew out of a general desire for a new way of thinking. People during this time period were better educated than they had been in the past, and this allowed them to think more complexly and share ideas.
