War of 1812: How did the war go for America in 1812-1813?
The Canadians marched with the help of the British to Washington DC and burnt the White House to the ground. At the time Canada was still a British colony. Canada did this in revenge for the attempted invasion of Upper and Lower Canada (Quebec and Ontario).
