One Similarity between Texas constitution and the U.S constitution is that they both cover the principles of representative democratic government, which authority comes from the people. As well as they both have a bill of rights which they use to protects civil liberties from the government. One difference between Texas constitution and the U.S. Constitution is when U.S. applies to the federal government with the states being number two, the Texas Constitution as well as all state constitutions sets in writing what the state government can/cannot do with the counties being number two.
