To find points on a graph you need an x and y point to make coordinates like this one in parentheses (x,y). You start if you can look at the attached photo you'll see the y axis going up and down (vertical) ; and the x axis going left to right (horizontal). The first number in the coordinates tells how far out the x value is. If it's 5 then you go the right 5 units. The next number is the y value. If it's 6, from the same point you left on, you will go up five units. So if the coordinates are (3,6) then you go left 3 units then up 6 units.
