The atrocities committed against the Jewish people in World War II are among the most horrific ever imagined. Why were German soldiers willing to commit these atrocities for their country and their leader?

Sagot :

Answer:

They basically had a gun held to their heads. If they didn't comply and just follow along with the ideals of society at that time period, the Germans would begin to target them, their friends, and their families to be persecuted along with the Jews. The Germans were also convinced that the only race that should be allowed to exist is blond haired, blue eyed Germans. To identify others that did not match their thought of a "perfect race", they would do things like, measure noses, eye color, eye shape, and hair color. Hitler could also gain followers by going into public with big flags, presentations, and shows by soldiers whom had already joined. He spread this across Europe until he had control of several countries and several million soldiers bowing at his feet ready to obey whatever horrifying command he gave.
