[tex]\sqrt{x-8}[/tex]     =  - [tex](x-5)^{2}[/tex]  +18 -3

[tex]\sqrt{x-8}[/tex]   =    - [tex](x-5)^{2}[/tex]  + 15

[tex]\sqrt{x-8}[/tex]   = -[ (x-5)*(x-5) ] + 15

[tex]\sqrt{x-8}[/tex]  = -[ [tex]x^{2}[/tex] - 10x + 25] +15

[tex]\sqrt{x-8}[/tex]  = -[tex]x^{2}[/tex] + 10x -25 +15
