At the center of the storm , air sink , forming an eye which is mostly cloud free and cross section of typical hurricane. Gravitational disturbance which we can called as density waves, rippling slowly through a galaxy and caused it to wind up and generate the spiral appearance.

Outside the eye-wall of hurricane rain-bands spiral inwards towards the eye-wall. Air flowing flowing inward warms adiabatically  causing additional heat to be added to the storm. Inward flowing air flowing adiabatically heat from the warm ocean below.
