HELP!!! A,B,or C
Eric was rock climbing. At one point, he stopped and climbed straight down 2 1/2 meters. Then he climbed straight up 6 3/4 meters.Eric was wondering what his change in elevation was after these two moves.
The answer is B Let’s think of his current location as 0 Since he climbed down 2 1/2 meters, u would think of it as 0 - 2 1/2 which equals - 2 1/2 Now his current location is - 2 1/2 Then he goes up 6 3/4 so to get his new location, we would simply add 6 3/4 to -2 1/2 So the answer would be -2 1/2 + 6 3/4 which would be B! Hope this helps!!
