Sagot :
Given:
Analogue clock gaining 3 min. every hours
correct time at 6pm on saturday
So in 20 hours clock will gain:
[tex]\begin{gathered} =3\times20 \\ =60\text{ min.} \end{gathered}[/tex]In 20 hours clock gain 1 hour.
When the clock gain 12 hours , it will show correct time again.
So,
[tex]\begin{gathered} =20\times12 \\ =240\text{ hours.} \end{gathered}[/tex]After 240 hours clock show right time i.e. after 10 days the clock will gain 12 hours and give right time.
If the clock is set to the correct time at 6 pm on saturday, than after 10 days i.e. 6pm on Tuesday it will show correct time
(b)
Same problem with 24 hours in digital clock.
When the clock gain 24 hours then its show right time.
so,
[tex]\begin{gathered} =20\times24 \\ =480 \end{gathered}[/tex]After 480 hours clock show right time i.e. 20 days clock will gain 24 hours and give right time.
If the clock set saturday at 6 pm then after 20 days 6 pm of Friday
