[tex]x+1\to x\le-2[/tex]So we need two point so we replace x=-2 and x=-3 so:
[tex]\begin{gathered} -2+1=-1 \\ -3+1=-2 \end{gathered}[/tex]So the coordinates to graph this line are (-3,-2) and (-2,-1) ( I will draw this in black)
Now for the second segment:
[tex]2x+4\to-2we also replace in two points so I use -2 and 1 so:[tex]\begin{gathered} 2(-2)+4=0 \\ 2(1)+4=6 \end{gathered}[/tex]So the coordinates are: (-2,0) and (1,6) ( I will draw this in red)
for the last segment is:
[tex]-5\to x>1[/tex]So is a horizontal line in y = -5 ( I will draw this in blue)
