What's the difference between Romanesque and Gothic style buildings?

Sagot :

Romanesque style buildings have semi-circular arches. Gothic style buildings have long, narrow columns. Gothic style came from/evolved from Romanesque style.

Romanesque church;  massive and fortress like, thick walls,  few windows, heavy stone roofs, huge columns, round Roman arches.

Gothic cathedral;   had flying buttresses to support the walls, had tall spires, lofty towers, and pointed arches. Open, spacious  interior, stained glass windows.

Hope this helps. :)
