[tex] \frac{4}{5} [/tex]

What we should do, is write the fractions so that both have the same denominator to be able to compare them.

We have then for fraction 2:

[tex] \frac{4}{5} * \frac{2}{2} =\frac{8}{10} [/tex]

Then, comparing the fractions, we observe that the numerator of the second fraction is greater. Therefore it is fulfilled that:

[tex] \frac{8}{10} > \frac{7}{10} [/tex]

And rewriting the fraction in its original form we have:

[tex] \frac{4}{5} > \frac{7}{10} [/tex]

Answer:

4/5 is bigger than 7/10
