How did they get "6.75" I've tried asking people but they were just mean about it and it still doesn't make sense
First thing is to bring up the decimal to the top. Just move it straight up. It will be part of the answer now. Divide 13 by 2 to get 6. Since 13 / 2 = 6, then 6 times 2 is 12 and that goes below the 13 and subtract. We end up with a 1. Bring down the 5 and now divide 15 by 2 to get 7. Put that up top. 7 times 2 is 14 and that goes below the 15 and subtract. We end up with a 1 again. As you can see in the attachment, I put a 0 inside the division box in pink and brought it down next to the 1 and now that allows us to divide 10 by 2, which divides evenly. 10/2 = 5 so that goes up top. And you're done!
