Killer Bees
In the 1950s, Brazilian scientists inadvertently developed killer bees, also known as Africanized honey bees. These bees were a result of crossbreeding African and European honey bees to increase honey production. However, some of the hybrid bees escaped and spread throughout the Americas, resulting in the creation of more aggressive bee populations.
