For example, should the mascot reflect the city's culture or heritage? Should there be a public vote of the city's residents to ensure that no one is offended?

After posting your own guidelines, you must then respond to two other classmates' guidelines and offer your evaluation of them or suggestions for improvement. Your suggestions must address the specific guidelines your classmate posted and must be productive, constructive, and appropriate. After you have received your two suggestions for revision, please post your updated guidelines and a brief reflection about what this exercise taught you about normalizing offensive stereotypes.

When participating in an online discussion, you should use formal, standard English and obey all conventions of punctuation and spelling. Avoid abbreviations or symbols used in texting, messaging, or informal conversation.
