on industrial design. Raymond Loewy was born on 1893 and died on 1986. Raymond
Loewy’s designs found great acceptance in America and so Raymond Loewy
Associates by the mid 1940’s became the largest industrial design firm of the
US. Loewy is often referred to as the Father of industrial design and also he
was the first industrial designer that featured in the cover of Times magazine.
Raymond Loewy was actually born in France but became famous in America.
