the atlatl was the basic cousin of the bow, it was once used to throw spears in ancient times, the bow brought more accuracy along with distance and power. the machine gun was used to bring down lines of enemies with quick hell fire, the combat aircraft brought war to a whole new level with high speeds making it hard to hit and the ability to drop large explosives onto enemies... don't use this as an answer but use some of the facts and it should help
