Sagot :
The real question is: If you need to divide 0.054 by 0.72 , how do you do it ?
If you learned long division in school, then you do it with a pencil and paper. You set up the numbers in a certain way, you put the decimal point where it belongs, and you crank through it. All of that is your work, and if you just hand in that piece of paper, then it shows your work.
If you never learned long division, or you learned it and forgot how to do it, and you do all of your division problems with a calculator, and if there's no calculator available then you haven't got a clue, well then there's really no way to show your work. I guess you could take a video of yourself pushing the buttons on the calculator, and then reading off the answer and copying it onto the homework sheet. But for a problem that says "Show your work", I feel like that would not fly.
